Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India. JEE Main is conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This examination was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) until 2018. This exam is conducted all over India. Cracking JEE Main is not an easy task but by putting effort and following some key tips and tricks, this could be achieved.

The last week before the exams is a very crucial period for every student. JEE Main examination is a great challenge to all the candidates to get a good rank and go for further studies. The candidates should know the weightage of all the topics in JEE Main exam to formulate a plan. The candidates must follow the following tips and tricks in the last week for JEE Main 2020.

Managing time in the JEE Main exam plays an important role. The candidates should set a target and try to complete a particular topic within the specified time. For revision, practise as many previous years question papers and online mock tests as one can. Managing time in any competitive exam is very important as time and tide waits for none. Try to manage time by practising daily. Divide the time equally to all the subjects in the examination and avoid wasting time on difficult questions during the exam.

The candidates should have detailed information about scoring topics to get a high score in the exam. The subject-wise important topics of the JEE Main is as follows:

Mathematics: Quadratic  Equation, Sequence Series, Trigonometry,  Inverse Trigonometric Equation, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Vector and 3D, Permutation and Combination, Statistics and Probability, Matrices And Determination, Mathematical Reasoning, Sets and Relations.

Physics: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Mechanism, Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, Oscillation and Waves, Thermodynamics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Kinematics, Ray Optics and Wave Optics, Mechanical and Sound Waves, System of Particles.

Chemistry:  Elements of the Periodic Table and Chemical Bonding, Transition Elements and Coordination, Chemistry, Hydrogen and s and p Blocks Elements, Atomic Structure, Mole Concept, Gaseous State and Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry and Redox Reactions, Molecular Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Surface Chemistry, and Chemical Kinematics.

JEE Main Revision approach

Revision is important for any competitive exams like JEE Main. The revision strategy must be devised in such a way that the entire syllabus is covered within time. It is important to revise the running notes given by the teacher. Prepare short notes on every topic, so that these topics could be revised easily. Learn important topics thoroughly and revise the same. The revision helps in improving memory, thinking power, and boosting confidence. Without revision, one cannot crack any competitive exam. Therefore, revision plays a vital role in all the competitive exams.

Managing board and entrance preparation
