UPSEE 2014: How to fill application form
Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination 2014 (UPSEE 2014) is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow to offer admissions in degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This state entrance exam is supervised and controlled by the Central Admission Board (CAB) which is constituted under the watchful eye of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh’s Technical Education Department. The Vice Chancellor of UPTU, Lucknow is the chairman of CAB.
UPSEE 2014 for undergraduate courses will be held on April 20, 2014 and for postgraduate courses is scheduled to be conducted on April 27, 2014.
Interested candidates can fill the UPSEE 2014 application forms both online as well as offline.
UPSEE 2014: How to fill online application form
Application forms are available for download from March 15, 2014 onwards. Candidates can apply for UPSEE 2014 till 10 pm on April 5, 2014.
Candidates need to fill in these broad areas in their online application form:
- Fill in personal details: Candidates need to fill in their personal details such as their full name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, personal mobile number, email id etc. with utmost care. Candidates should review the information furnished by them thoroughly before submitting the form.
- Pay the examination fee: Candidates can pay the exam fee either through credit/debit card or through a bank challan. The exam fee for male candidates of general quota as well as OBC candidates is Rs 1000 whereas all female candidates and SC/ST category candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 500 to sit for the exam.
- Upload scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression: Candidates need to attach their clear scanned image in the application form. The image should be coloured and in passport size (3.5cm X 4.5cm). The image should be in JPEG Format with a maximum size of 20 KB. The photograph must be front facing to the camera in a manner that the candidate’s full face can be seen. The background should be either white or off-white and uncluttered. Apart from this the candidate must attach a clear scanned image of their signature (3.5cm X 1.5cm) in JPEG format with the signature image size being not more than10 KB. Similarly, the left thumb impression should also be in JPEG format and its dimensions should be 3.5cm X 1.5cm, this scanned image should not be more than 10 KB in size.
Candidates should thoroughly review their application form before pressing the submit button because once the final submit button is pressed no changes in the application form will be entertained.
On submission of the application form, a registration number will be generated. Candidates need to note down this registration number which they are required to use for all future correspondences. Candidates then need to take a take a print-out of the confirmation page that appears before them.

UPSEE 2014: How to fill offline application form
Candidates who are interested in filling UPSEE 2014 application form through the off-line mode can request for the form at any designated help desk. The application form is available free of cost at all help desks.
Candidates can apply for UPSEE 2014 from March 15, 2014 to April 5, 2014.
When candidates appear to apply for the state entrance exam, they should carry two passport-sized coloured photographs of themselves. Candidates need to fill in their personal details in the application form such as their date of birth, personal mobile number and email id. The mobile phone number / e-mail id of the candidate will be used by UPSEE-2014 for communication with the candidate at various stages of the examination process.
The candidate must submit the duly filled application form at same help desk. Once the help desk completes the necessary formalities, the candidate needs to pay the examination fee. Candidates can pay the exam fee either through their credit/debits cards or through a bank challan.
After the exam fee payment is successful, candidates need to submit their photograph, thumb impression and signature to the help desk, after which they will be provided with three copies of the confirmation page from the help desk.
The confirmation page will contain a registration number which the candidate needs to use for all future correspondences.
Candidates then, need to then post a duly signed copy of the confirmation page along with copy of challan (if the payment is made through bank challan) through speed post / registered post latest by 5 pm on April 7, 2014 at the below mentioned address:
