VIT University offers a full-time MCA via School of Information Technology & Engineering (SITE). The duration of the programme is two years. The Deemed University, every year, conducts Vellore Institute of Technology Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE) to offer admission to the MCA programme. Branch-wise Infrastructure Facilities
VIT-Chennai
VIT, Chennai has two academic blocks, that are highly specialised in their respective fields. Auditorium can hold 400 students and is equipped with integrated air conditioners, Wi-Fi connectivity and a stunning stage. The classrooms are well designed and provide everything needed for a comfortable learning environment.
Canteens and food courts make it easy to get food and refreshments, a health centre with in-patient services and ambulances is available 24 hours a day, transportation services for day scholars, banks and ATM machines, standby power generators offer electrical power backup, guesthouse with online booking, male and female students' gymnasium are the key facilities that are available and contribute to a pleasant learning environment.
VIT-AP
With a rapidly expanding 200-acre campus in the centre of Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, the institution offers a pleasant and dynamic campus environment. VIT-AP hostels are extremely safe and well-guarded. Each hostel room has a crib, chair, study table and storage. Resident wardens are on duty 24 hours a day.
A library covers 1470 square metres of area and is centrally air-conditioned and connected with Wi-Fi. It comprises three reading rooms, one reference department, three discussion rooms, and one digital library with 15 computers. VIT-AP has multiple laboratories for various programs it offers. Each laboratory is well-equipped to meet the needs of various programs.
VIT-Bhopal
VIT, Bhopal, situated on the Bhopal-Indore expressway, is a location where education meets determination. Academic Block covers an area of 17,611.2 square metres and has state-of-the-art labs, Greater Internet Access, an auditorium with a capacity of accommodating 600 people, a bank and an ATM counter and digital classrooms. Primary attractions include Gaming Studio, Aerospace Lab, IoT Lab and Bioengineering Labs.
The boys' Hostel Building has 8 floors. It provides Wi-Fi-enabled A/C and Non-A/C rooms in sharing. A contemporary kitchen, separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian mess assuring hygienically cooked nutritious meals and a well-equipped gymnasium are housed in the hostel building. Six-floored girls' Hostel Building is provided with Wi-Fi enabled A/C and non-A/C rooms in sharing, and a modern cafeteria with dining giving a nutritious diet. The two-floored library is a knowledge hub with over 50,000 books, journals, e-books, periodicals, and other materials.

VIT Vellore has been ranked 8 and 11 under the 'University' and 'Engineering' categories, respectively, by the NIRF 2023 Rankings. Also, during VIT Vellore placements in 2023, the highest package offered was INR 1.2 crore per annum. VIT Vellore is famous for its infrastructure as well. Facilities such as AC and non-AC single and shared rooms, 24*7 water and power supply, in-house residential counsellors, wardens, supervisors, mess, café and round-the-day security among others are offered at the campus. Looking at the highest package offered by the university and the rankings given by the NIRF, one can conclude that it is one of the best universities in India.
