Vellore Institute of Technology provides a centralised placement process for all campuses through VIT Career Development Centre.

Vellore Institute of Technology has four branch campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal. 

VIT, Chennai was established in 2010. VIT, Chennai has 13,000 students from diverse nations and from every state in India. VIT, Chennai campus provides several opportunities to explore individual interests, discover key talents, and participate in a dynamic lifestyle of development.

VIT, Bhopal was established in 2017. VIT, Bhopal, designed with a fresh global perspective, enables its students to achieve greatness through study. To create a highly competitive future for professionals, partnerships with reputed international bodies are being developed.

In line with this, VIT-AP embodies a dynamic combination of academic innovation with the goal of building one of the world's top academic institutions. VIT-Andhra Pradesh was established in 2017.

Admission is common for all campuses. Seat allocation is provided based on the percentage secured in the respective courses. VIT provides over 120 courses in Undergraduation, Postgraduation and all disciplines of Doctorate. These courses are categorised into various specialisations, including Arts & Science, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Humanities and Management.

Branch-wise Infrastructure Facilities

VIT-Chennai

VIT, Chennai has two academic blocks, that are highly specialised in their respective fields. Auditorium can hold 400 students and is equipped with integrated air conditioners, Wi-Fi connectivity and a stunning stage. The classrooms are well designed and provide everything needed for a comfortable learning environment. 

Canteens and food courts make it easy to get food and refreshments, a health centre with in-patient services and ambulances is available 24 hours a day, transportation services for day scholars, banks and ATM machines, standby power generators offer electrical power backup, guesthouse with online booking, male and female students' gymnasium are the key facilities that are available and contribute to a pleasant learning environment.

VIT-AP

With a rapidly expanding 200-acre campus in the centre of Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, the institution offers a pleasant and dynamic campus environment. VIT-AP hostels are extremely safe and well-guarded. Each hostel room has a crib, chair, study table and storage. Resident wardens are on duty 24 hours a day.  

A library covers 1470 square metres of area and is centrally air-conditioned and connected with Wi-Fi. It comprises three reading rooms, one reference department, three discussion rooms, and one digital library with 15 computers. VIT-AP has multiple laboratories for various programs it offers. Each laboratory is well-equipped to meet the needs of various programs. 

VIT-Bhopal

VIT, Bhopal, situated on the Bhopal-Indore expressway, is a location where education meets determination. Academic Block covers an area of 17,611.2 square metres and has state-of-the-art labs, Greater Internet Access, an auditorium with a capacity of accommodating 600 people, a bank and an ATM counter and digital classrooms. Primary attractions include Gaming Studio, Aerospace Lab, IoT Lab and Bioengineering Labs. 

The boys' Hostel Building has 8 floors. It provides Wi-Fi-enabled A/C and Non-A/C rooms in sharing. A contemporary kitchen, separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian mess assuring hygienically cooked nutritious meals and a well-equipped gymnasium are housed in the hostel building. Six-floored girls' Hostel Building is provided with Wi-Fi enabled A/C and non-A/C rooms in sharing, and a modern cafeteria with dining giving a nutritious diet. The two-floored library is a knowledge hub with over 50,000 books, journals, e-books, periodicals, and other materials.
