Difficulty level- Overall

For Abhay Mambiar a student of Excel IIT Academy, the exam went fine and exactly as he expected, “ It was not that difficult, two or three questions were a little tricky, rest of the exam was comparatively easier than JEE and all”. He further added, “Otherwise the exam was on the same lines as previous year papers and mock papers shared in our coaching centre.”

Prince Sharma who took VITEEE 2014 in the first slot today says, “The exam was good. The exam was not that difficult. It was like (JEE) mains only but a little less (easier) than (JEE) mains and I am happy with the way I gave the exam”. As per him, the exam was on same lines as previous year VITEEE exam papers.

A student of Vidyamandir, Shivam Negi who took the exam last year as well felt, “The exam was nice, it was easy. In Physics and Chemistry, unlike last year, there were some concept based questions but since all my concepts were clear I managed to attempt all the questions.”

Difficulty level- Subject Wise

“There was no difference in the different sections, all the questions were normal-type only. But I feel 1-2 questions from electrostatics were wrong. But I managed to complete the test in time”, shared Shivam.

Abhay Mambiar reveals, “For me Chemistry concept based questions were personally a little difficult, maths was a little lengthy and Physics was easy.”

“Difficulty level of different sections was similar. The only thing is that maths section was lengthy. But Physics was easy” says Prince. He also added that, “I was not able to complete the exam and it was not just me many students were not able to complete the exam.” Elaborating on this he said, “There were 40 questions in each section which I needed to attempt in 2 and a half hours whereas in other exams there are just 30 questions per section which have to be attempted in three hours”.

Giving CBT

Abhay took the offline test for JEE Mains and he shares that sitting for the VITEEE 2014 was an OK and different experience for him.

Shivam shared that, “There were no glitches in the computer based test at my centre, the classrooms and computers were well-maintained and comfortable to operate.”
