The students should focus on understanding the basic concepts. All the students should remember the fact that the questions asked in the examination aren't too hard, it's just that they simply are not prepared. In this article, we will discuss the syllabus for JEE Main and the reference books.
Subject-wise Strategy for JEE Main
Planning and strategising isn’t the challenging part. Putting all the planning and strategies into action is the challenging part of the preparation process.
- Physics: Understanding the concepts and solving problems is the key to attain high scores in Physics. Tighten the grip on the fundamentals of each topic and memorise all the formulae. During the preparation, grasp the concepts before solving questions and numerical. The conceptual questions and numerical based problems, both are important for JEE Main.
- Chemistry: To prepare for Chemistry, the students should focus on covering the NCERT syllabus thoroughly to understand the fundamentals of Chemistry. Make proper notes for each chapter, study all reaction mechanisms, and learn all the naming reactions listed. Thoroughly revise the reactions and formulae frequently.
On the other hand, for Organic Chemistry, read from the NCERT book to clarify the basic concepts. After completing the chapters, write down all equations from the chapter in a separate notebook for a quick reference while solving problems.
- Mathematics: Mathematics requires consistent practice to score well in the section. One should make sure that concepts and formulae are on their fingertips. Learn every possible shortcut and formulae during the preparation to save time in the exam.
The students preparing for competitive exams need to know the exam pattern. It includes
the topics, subject-wise knowledge weightage and so on. Hence, make a list of all the high weightage topics and prepare accordingly. Note that an equal number of questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the exam.
