Electronic engineering-A career for the future. A career in electronic engineering can indeed be a rewarding one. But what does one need to possess in order to pursue this degree? As the subject deals with electronics, one has to know about electricity and its working. As part of the curriculum, students will also have to learn related subject matter, such as what electrons are and how they function and how people benefit from electricity in their everyday lives.

Electronic engineering skills involve knowing about technology as well. Besides electronics, students also learn troubleshooting techniques. For e.g. learning how a television set works and how issues can be faced if any. Another important thing students will learn is computer science, and understand everything about computers. This will be a particularly important part of their education in electronic engineering.

So being an electronic engineer or technician is no small task. It requires a lot of skill and determination to succeed. It is a profession that will never face any shortage of jobs.
