<p style="text-align: justify;">HT Horizons went to school(s) on Monday, September 7, with Kulachi Hansraj Model School (Ashok Vihar) and Mount Carmel (Anand Niketan) becoming the first destinations where our&nbsp; &ldquo;Career Quotient 2009,&rdquo; tests to assess students&rsquo; aptitude were conducted.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The response was overwhelming, with more than 250 class XI students taking the test in Kulachi itself. The 40-minute test, which <img style="border: 3px solid black; margin: 3px 4px; float: right;" src="https://images.shiksha.com/mediadata/images/1252576264phpwaFSp1.jpeg" alt="" width="110" height="150">started with a short introduction to the guidelines,&nbsp; kept the students busy. They had to go through the 71 triad statements and indicate their least and most preferred options. The teachers, and especially the co-ordinators, were a great support.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />&ldquo;Such tests are really important in today&rsquo;s world where students are under pressure from their parents, peer groups and relatives. This assesment will help them focus on making a better, unbiased career/course choice,&rdquo; said S. Kumar, Headmistress, senior school, Kulachi Hansraj.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The results will be available to every student as a three-page summary. They will also have online access to a 30-page full report. Sessions with school counsellors armed with the necessary information to assist students who need to discuss their results, will follow.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />&ldquo;Finishing the syllabus is not the only thing we should do. We should broaden the minds of the children by bringing up more career options and such tests can be a great help,&rdquo; says Kulachi Hansraj Principal P Datta.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />HT Horizons will be conducting the Career Quotient 2009 tests in various other schools, which include DAV Public School, Salwan Public School, Indraprastha School (Dwarka), Indraprastha School (Paschim Vihar), Tagore International School, St Mary&rsquo;s School, Ryan International School and Ramjas School (RK Puram).
