GAT English Language section will cover questions from:

• Verbal Reasoning
• Sentence completion
• Fill In the Blanks
• One word substitution
• Sentence correction
• Idioms
• Analogies
• Different usage of same word
• Jumbled paragraphs
• Foreign language words used in English.

In GITAM GAT, each correct answer will be awarded 1 or 2 marks. There is no negative marking. Each question has four options, of which one is correct.

Candidates should keep preparing for GITAM GAT along with their class 12 school exams and boards. A good board preparation is enough to score well in GAT.

For GITAM GAT preparation of BTech, candidates can refer to the books like NCERT and all other books that they refer to for their class 11 and 12 preparations.

For enrollment into BTech course at GITAM School of Technology, Hyderabad, the institute accepts the scores of GAT. The test has two sections and all questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions).
