Admission to BTech MIT Manipal is based on a mandatory entrance test, i.e., Manipal Entrance Test MET followed by online/physical counselling sessions. This exam is conducted every year in 3 phases. SJCE Mysore offers programmes at UG, PG and doctoral levels in the Engineering, Management and Science streams. The courses include BE, MBA, MTech, MCA, etc. Aspirants need to pass a minimum of Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. The selection to all the courses is entrance-based. 

In order to get admitted to its undergraduate engineering programs, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) mainly accepts entrance exam results. The particular entry tests that UVCE may accept include:

1. The *KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)* KCET is a single entrance test for admission to a variety of professional degrees in Karnataka, including engineering. It is administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

2. *COMEDK UGET:* The Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET), another entrance test approved by UVCE for engineering admissions, is administered by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

The UVCE and other engineering institutions in Karnataka are ranked and admission eligibility is usually determined by these entrance tests. The specific admission examinations that are allowed may change depending on the rules and regulations of the college for that particular academic year.

 

BIET - Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

M.E./M.Tech	Candidates must have passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/ semesters of the Degree Examination from any recognised institute/university. Final year students can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates must have valid GATE score.
MCA	Candidate should have studied Maths at 10+2 stage or at graduation level.
