No, Hindustan University offers admission to all of its courses based on a valid score in the respective entrance exams. For the majority of UG courses from the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, Management and Law, the university conducts an in-house entrance exam, i.e., HITSCAT. On the official webiste of B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, I could not find any information on the cutoff marks required in the JEE Main or Crescent College's entrance test, namely Crescent Institute Engineering Admission Test (CIEAT 2024) for admission. However, as per the eligibility criteria mentioned on the official website of the college, students must have at least 50% scores in their Class 12 in the PCM subject combination to be eligible for this course. 

The eligibility requirements for the MTech/ ME course are that students should complete the BTech/ BE degree in a stream relevant to applying ME course with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Also, for selecting the students, the college considers an acceptable score of PG entrance exam, i.e., GATE or CEETA.
