 J. K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology, Allahabad University accepts JEE Main scores to allow admission to BTech in CSE (AI) and ECE, . Recently. J. K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology, Allahabad University Cutoff 2025 for the Round 1 seat allotment results has been released by the institute, based on candidates' performance in JEE Main. As per the Round 1 cutoff data, the closing cutoff for various courses ranged between 39197 and 51560 for the General AI category candidates. The toughest course out of all was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (AI), with the last-round closing rank of 39197, for the General AI category candidates. The least competitive course is B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering for the General AI category.

BCA	Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with mentioned aggregate marks in any stream with maths as subject of study from a recognized board of education.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have passed graduation in Engineering or Technology or its equivalent with mentioned marks from any recognized University mentioned marks
M.Pharma	Candidates must have passed their B.Pharm or related course with mentioned marks from a recognized university.
D.Pharma	The minimum age is 14 years as on 1st July 2022, i.e. born on or before 01-07-2009.
B.Pharma	Candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCM/PCB from a recognized board.

The institute has not released the placement report incorporating the overall data for the 2026 drive. However, the institute have disclosed the 2026 placement statistics till Phase I. As per the reports, over 250 recruiters participated and presented 1202 offers to the students. 1079 students were placed, of which 15 students have got international placements.

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology does not offer any scholarship to the M.Tech programme students but provide financial assistance in the form of Institute Assistantships to students admitted under the Full Time Regular Registration Category.

Presently, assistantships at INR 12,400 pm are available for GATE-qualified candidates. Non- GATE qualified candidates, admitted to the programmes at the EIB Centre will be provided with an Institute assistantship of INR 8,000 pm.
