IIIT Allahabad - Where code meets culture.

Placements: College has really best placement culture where almost 100% of students are placed. Students received top offers from top companies like MAANG where students received the highest package of 1.45 LPA, and an average package of 37 LPA. Apart from this, a lot of students received internship opportunities from top companies.

Infrastructure: Academic wing is fully air-conditioned with lab and classroom equipped with modern facilities with 24X7 access to Wi-Fi services. There is one central library where you could find large number of books by almost every writer and research papers by researchers.

Faculty: Teachers of the college are highly knowledgeable and they have completed their Ph.D. from top colleges of India like IITs. They are really helpful throughout the entire course. Course covered in ECE are highly relevant as they have direct implementation in industry like digital design course offered by the college. Semester exams are not that much difficult and nearly 99% of the students pass the semester exams.

Other: Apart from academics college conducts every year technical, cultural, and sports fests. Cultural fest effervescence is conducted every year at end of October, technical fest Aproksha is conducted end of March, and sports fest Asmita is conducted at the start of April. I was keen to learn more about electronics and communication so I decided to choose my future in ECE. Here, professors are very good and they help everyone to understand things and apply them in a practical sense.

Placements: The placement scenario at IIIT Allahabad is highly impressive, thanks to the institute's strong reputation, competitive peer group, and vibrant coding culture. Students receive offers from top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, and many leading startups. Internship opportunities are also abundant, with students securing roles at prestigious tech firms and research positions at reputed foreign universities. Popular roles offered include software development engineer, data scientist, product engineer, quant analyst, and positions in AI and machine learning. The diverse opportunities help students build a strong and rewarding career foundation.

Infrastructure: IIIT Allahabad offers well-equipped, air-conditioned classrooms and good computer labs. A small library with Wi-Fi serves around 80 students. Hostel rooms are decent but not air-conditioned, and coolers are essential in summer. Wi-Fi is available in hostels, but it can be unreliable. Mess food quality varies by vendors, and basic options are available in canteens. Medical facilities provide first aid and consultations. The campus also supports a range of sports with well-maintained courts and fields, encouraging an active lifestyle.

However, improvements could be made in reducing academic pressure and introducing more flexible electives. The campus hosts vibrant events like Effervescence (cultural fest) and Aparoksha (teach fest), offering a great mix of extracurricular activities. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly, and the institute provides good connectivity. Scholarships are available, and the surroundings offer a peaceful learning environment.

Placements: The passion out batch of the year 2025, only 70 recent are placed on an average of 6-8 LPA. Offer. Our batch is still in its first year, and in a batch of 66 students, only 7-10 are still left for summer internship, the rest all have the offer in hand. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Accenture, Tata, Microsoft, and many more.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, fests and events happen a lot, the hostel and college campus both have free Wi-Fi, there's a good library, and subscriptions to some paid journals. The course is also updated to the latest industry standards, and proper lab classes are organised for practical implications.

Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and experienced; one of my professors is an IIIM Ahmedabad passout. The courses are of industry standards. The semester exams are divided into 3 subparts mid sem and end sem, and an internal assessment consisting of 35 marks.

Other: The roi for MBA is good as far as feels amount is concerned, many extra-curricular activities are also organised, and these are also managed by senior students by asking the participation of junior students.

Infrastructure: IIIT Allahabad offers modern and tech-friendly infrastructure Wi-Fi-enabled campus, high-end computer labs, and smart classrooms. Hostels are well-maintained, with 24/7 internet and mess facilities. The central library provides digital access, and there is a sports complex and student activity centers. The campus is spread over 100+ acres with green surroundings.

Faculty: The institute has a mix of experienced professors and young researchers. Many faculty members are PhDs from top IITs or leading national universities. Not worth for money except placement opportunities .

Placements: In my course, 90% students get placed and remaining will get the placements off campus. The highest package was around 1 crore. The lowest is 4-10 LPA. Microsoft, google and amazon top mnc's hire from the college. Around 110 students get the internship opportunities in 400 members. Fresher roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities, room sharing were better I. e.2 members for each room. Classrooms and library facilities are good. We have iiit sports which happen in April the sports fest asmita. Washrooms are not nice. Food sometimes good some times average based on the year your studying it varies. We have night canteen but quality is not good (fast food). .

Faculty: Yes. Teachers are helpful. As this is a government college teachers are qualified ee but not all the teachers are passionate towards teaching Curriculum is good not so much updated but yet better than many colleges. Difficult level of the exams were above average. But correction was some what strict.

Other: If you any want more enjoyment less stress joining in this college would not better. As there is some academic pressure and little peer pressure .
