Step 3: Register with basic details to generate login credentials.

Step 4: Login with the registered email-id and password to fill the application form.

Step 5: Upload the documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit and print the application form for future reference.

Documents required at the time of application

• Passport-size coloured photograph
• Current CV
• All marksheet/ degree certificates from Class 10 onwards
• Statement of purpose
• Standarised examination certificate-CSIR NET, UGC NET, GATE 
• Names and contact information of three referees (for Sociology)
• A research proposal (for Sociology)
• A writing sample (for Sociology)
• A reference letter (for Chemical Engineering only)

Candidates can apply offline for PhD course as soon as they recieve the LPUNEST Kit. The application form can be submitted by one of the following methods:
1. Manual Application: Fill the full application form (OMR sheet) after reading all the instructions as specified under the head “Instructions for filling Application Form (OMR sheet)” and send it to the university in the self-addressed envelope on the following Address: Block 30, Room No 102, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar Delhi, GT Road, Phagwara, Punjab, India – 144411

2. Semi-Offline Application: In case applicant is unable to send the hard copy of application form (OMR Sheet), then applicant may scratch the Unique OMR code available on application form (OMR Sheet) and follow the below mentioned steps:

• Sign up on LPU ADMIT portal
• When prompted for payment, choose the option of Unique OMR Code (given on OMR Sheet)and fill the same.

No, CUET is not compulsory for admission at SGT University. Aspirants can also get admission based on their qualifying exam scores. For BTech, candidates with JEE Main scores are also offered admission.
