College life helps shape one’s personality: Santoshi Pandey
In popular view, college is a place where we can do anything without anyone’s interference. I also had the same thinking before getting admission in a college, but when I went to college, it was totally opposite of what I had always thought. Anyway, college moulds our knowledge in some particular directions which provides us with success, a platform to stand, name, fame and respect from the society.
My college life experience was like a car moving on a road to reach its destination. I experienced many ups and downs while going to the college. First of all, it was a new place where we were independent to do anything but we didn't know what to do. Secondly, after getting out from school, I didn’t know what I wanted to do next and I felt frustrated in the classes when everyone talked about what to do next.

So, many months of my first year got wasted in these kind of things. When I started knowing what I have to do next and how college life is moulding my personality in a positive way, I started liking my college. I started taking part in various college societies like dramatics society, economics society, political society and so on. I learned many new things like how to interact with new people, gain knowledge from others, build my personality, and many more things. The friends that I made in the college helped me enjoy my life to the fullest.
At the end of my second year, I got my first internship through the placement cell at Times of India. The time period of that internship was just 2 months. In this, my work was related to sales and marketing. What I learned from this work was how to have a command on my words and language, how to communicate with people in the most pleasant way, how to be confident enough to deal with a customer, how to deal or what to speak in most difficult situations, how to be presentable in front of seniors and many more things. This internship built my personality. It was a great experience to work at Times of India.
I want to give the entrance exam for LLB after completing my graduation as I am in my last year. For preparation of that exam, I have started reading many general knowledge books, watching news, reading newspaper daily, getting help from my seniors about which book is good or which is not, and I have started taking coaching, which will help me deepen my knowledge and will guide me professionally.
Career selection is a big decision as our whole life is dependent on that choice. Your career should make you happy, not disheartened or sad for your entire life. And for selecting the field of career, the college plays an important role as it tells you in which field you are good or bad.
