Admissions at Gujarat University are based on entrance exam or aggregate in Class 12. The selection requirements varies course-wise. Check below the Gujarat University admission process:

1. Application Process 

The application process consists of first filling out the online application form from the University's official website and paying the application fee.

2. Selection Rounds 

Students have to check what the eligibility criteria is for the course they want. For eg., MBA and PhD course require candidates to appear for an entrance exam, such as CMAT, whereas for UG diploma, BA, and BDes course, students are only needed to pass the merit criteria which is a certain percent of marks in Class 12. 

3. Counselling & Admission Confirmation

After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants are required to come for counselling and document verification. For MBA, ACPC Counselling is required. Shortlisted aspirants need to confirm their seat by paying the fee.

VNSGU Veer Narmad South Gujarat University , also known as South Gujarat University, came into existence in 1965. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) has various collaborations and some of these include Vardhman Mahaveer Open University Kota, Rajasthan, Stree Chetana, Astrakhan State University Astrakhan, Russia, Shishuvihar, Vidyamandir Trust Gujarat State Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS, Blind People's Association, NAC Communication Network LLP, Ahmedabad Garbhopanished Foundation.

Candidates who have scored 50% aggregate in graduation from any discipline are eligible to apply for MA in CUG. If the candidate wants to get admission in Central University of Gujarat, he has to clear CUET-PG for the same as the university grants admission on merit basis only. Though, the CUET-PG results are still awaited. After the CUET results are declared candidates can check their respective cut-offs for the programmes they have chosen. 

Saurashtra University hasn't released any admission dates for its MA course admission 2025. The University admission portal will open soon. Candidates with a valid qualification are eligible to apply for the course on the official website of Saurashtra University.
