Nice place for higher education.
Placements: In normal graduation courses, the jobs offers are limited. Although professional courses get good placement opportunities. Not much of students of my courses get placed as it is a normal graduation course. Research facilities are good for my course and higher education is quite good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well maintained. The facilities are good for maintaining huge crowd that studies here. Hostel facility is good compared to other institutions. Rooms are also available outside the college faculty. You've various options to choose from hostel services.
Faculty: Faculty is very experienced. The interaction between professors and students is fruitful in providing a scholaristic environment. Curriculum is planed in a manner so as to provide with competitive exams and further research in particular subjects. Exams are held semesterwise to make students involved with the curriculum and give them continuous learning process.

I am quite satisfied with this university.
Placements: The college provides placement, but there is a lot of placement issues. The placement or internship offered to the Geography department is not in better condition. Student of Allahabad University focuses on the preparation of civil services, NET-JRF, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provides free Wi-Fi facility, smart classrooms, library and computer labs. The college also provides basic facilities like canteen, hostels for both boys and girls, sports club and various cultural drama classes, etc. I am not satisfied with the hostel facility, and rooms are small. For the hostel, they charge Rs. 60,00-70,00 per month.
Faculty: Faculty members environment is peaceful. Teachers of the main campus are also supportive as compared to affiliated colleges. They also provide practical classes so that student understand it better. The course curriculum is fantastic with specific deep knowledge of the study.
Other: The fee offered was very low and also refundable in the form of a scholarship to every student according to their category. Some students get free education.

Satisfied with faculty and facilities.
Placements: The college doesn't have any placement wings. Maybe companies that offered placement to the students. Students usually prepare for civil services or SSC. Main reason behind that students must focus on government jobs no one has the need or any complains regarding the placements.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is not available in every department or colleges. There is well maintained libraries and also opportunities to take participate in different games and sports available on campus. There are canteen but not much in good condition and there is a shortage of hostel room too.
Faculty: The professors were very experienced and very helpful in nature. These professors also take participate in international conferences. Attendance is compulsory with a minimum of 75%. Teaching is done with the help of projectors. All the studies and lectures are parallel to the competitive exams.
Other: This courses is focused on every aspect of life. It is very helpful to connect with other nations. Study is completely free in campus due to various scholarship one being provided.

Review of Allahabad University (AU).
Placements: Placements in our college were poor. No company has visited the campus for recruiting students. There was no placement cell in the college. There are no summer internships offered to the students during vacations.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is good. All the facilities are good, including games and sports, medical facilities, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity. A massive central library with thousands of books is also available on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college teach very well. They ensure maximum value addition to students through their lectures. They all are well-qualified, experienced and teach passionately. Industry exposure is not provided to students. The course curriculum is good and useful.
Other: The university is good at conducting extracurricular activities, festivals, etc.

About Allahabad University from my perspective.
Placements: Allahabad University provides placements, but M.A. geography students get nothing from placement perspective. Even you can't get any internship so don't hope for that. Otherwise, facilities are good in the university, and the atmosphere is great. Overall, it is a good place to study.
Infrastructure: If you talk about infrastructure one thing to be in your mind that Allahabad University is one of the oldest universities in India so nothing fancy but you can get Wi-Fi and well-maintained labs for students. The classrooms are pretty big and clean. The library is there, but there is a lack of medical facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good despite one or two. Some teachers are helpful with your projects and other study related stuff but not all of them. They are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is awesome, but the main professors are not regular to the college.
Other: Allahabad University provides everything, but some areas are bad. If we forgot that then AU is an awesome place to be and every year annual functions happen. The campus crowd is pretty good. You can get scholarship also don't worry about that.

Hey Ankit to be an IAS officer you must appear for upsc cse . This only require graduation in any discipline. So you are eligible after BA only but if you want to study more then it is better to pursue MA in your optional subject.
