Veer Narmad South Gujarat University is located in Surat, Gujarat and is also known as VNSGU. It has been accredited by NAAC with B+ grade in 2022 and has also been recognised by the UGC. At present, there are 34 government, 190 self-financed colleges, and 150 postgraduate teaching centres affiliated with VNSGU.

BAOU provides more than 80 undergraduate, postgraduate, UG diploma, PG diploma, certificates, and doctoral programmes. M.Lib.I.Sc is a 2 year duration course and total fees is about INR 8540 for 2years.
