GNDU offers admission as per notification issued by Punjab Government. The University offers admission to its UG and PG courses on the basis of both merit and entrance-based. Admission to most of the courses is based on candidates performance in the Hence, the university does not offer direct admission. LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

 For a few courses, such as MA, BA, MLib, etc., admissions are completely based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Students must go through the Panjab University CHD-conducted/ national-level entrances and then appear for the university-level selection rounds for final admission at Panjab University.

You cannot join the Central University of Punjab without appearing for the central university's common test CUCET for PG courses the eligibility criteria for PG courses at the Central University of Punjab require a valid score on CUCET and graduation with merit. The admission process for PG courses is based on CUCET followed by and interview. During internals, sections are made for attendance, theory exam and practical exam. If you pass ( i.e more than 50%)in theory and practical and attendance more than or equal to 75 % in a subject you get 100%  in that subject. Cumulative GPA is after all these internal assessment and send ups.
