CET, the acronym for Common Entrance Test is supposed to be one of the most toughest and most sought after MBA Entrance exams in India and to make your way through this mind boggler is not everyone's cup of tea, so get yourselves adhered to the much talked about CET and its preparation strategies. Getting oneself clasped to the CET preparation strategies would succor you in reaching the pinnacle of success.

A student preparing for CAT can breathe a sigh of relief as the CET exam is way easier and human as compared to the CAT exams. The very essence of the CET preparation strategies lies in a relaxed frame of mind. If one keeps his mind calm and complacent, it wouldn't quite be a problem for him to pave a way through this exam. Though there are quite a few Do's and Don'ts to be kept in mind before the very inception of CET exam.

Correlating the two exams, CAT and CET, both the exams show striking differences and the most prevalent difference between the two is psychological. While CAT constitutes a lot of hard work, superior planning and great presence of mind, CET is placed as something easier and much more human!

Some of the few strategies to be chalked down and to be complied with before the CET exam are:

  • Solving as many as two papers a day would help you buck up with the speed.
  • Analyzing the paper is extremely important.
  • Practice what you are not good and comfortable as ‘practice makes a man perfect' but the time factor needs to be kept in mind.
  • Don't, by any chance, let your speed decrease any time.

Following are some basic points to be observed during the exam:

  • Taking the exam with ease is the first and the foremost point to be followed.
  • Try and solve the questions that take less time to start with and then move ahead with remaining ones with visual reasoning at the end.
  • A better way of solving the papers would be clarifying all those questions first that are easily understood.
  • As CET happens to be a speed based exam, attempting all 200 questions would give the person a distinct 20 questions advantage over all those who end up solving 180 questions. For this, one needs to enhance his speed skills.
  • In case, one fails to solve to the entire paper, concentrating on the accuracy would be the focal point.

Complying with the above mentioned points as some of the CET preparation strategies would never let your hard work go unnoticed and your hard work would indeed pay in a much more fruitful manner!
