IRMA Admissions 2026-28

IRMA admission is based on the scores of other MBA entrance exams (CAT/XAT/CMAT), followed by the Personal Interview round. Earlier, the institute conducted IRMASAT for admissions to the MBA programme at IRMA. Candidates, however, still need to register on the official website to apply for the MBA programme at IRMA. IRMA Financial Assistance

The Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) offers financial assistance to deserving candidates through various scholarships and schemes. These are:

• IRMA Merit-Based Scholarship: The institute gives 20 merit-based scholarships worth INR 1.17 CR to the students of its flagship programme, Post-Graduate Diploma in Management in Rural Management (PGDM-RM). Out of these scholarships, ten are reserved for women candidates.

The scholarship amount would be 50% of the tuition fee, i.e. INR 3,40,000 for first year. The scholarship will be based on overall selection merit of IRMA’s selection process for the first year. The second year scholarship will depend on the academic performance in the first year, i.e. the CGPA.

• Mirae Asset Foundation Scholarship: This is given to three candidates who deserve it from each year in the PDGM-RM course.
• IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarship: This is awarded to deserving candidates for the entirety of the PGDM-RM course.
• SC Scholarships: This scholarship, awarded by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, covers the entire programme cost for SC category candidates. Four scholarships are awarded to SC students at IRMA, which includes tuition fee, non-refundable charges, hostel expenses, books, stationery and a personal computer.
• ST Scholarships: Awarded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, for ST-category students, the ST scholarship numbers vary every year.
• PM-YASAVI- OBC & Others: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, is implementing an umbrella scheme for the MBA students at IRMA, called the PM- Young Achievers’ Scholarship Award Scheme for the welfare of OBC, EBC and DNT students. The ministry will provide full tuition fee and non-refundable charges with celling of INR 2 lakhs per annum per student coupled with living expenses, books and stationery and a latest laptop/computer.

The facility of a tuition fee waiver is also available under the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme as per the AICTE rules. Students can also opt for education loans from various banks with student-friendly interest options.
