KAU MAT 2012 scheduled for July 7

Kerala Agriculture University (KAU) will be conducting the KAU Management Aptitude Test (KAU MAT) 2012 on July 7 (Saturday). The test will be conducted for admission to KAU's MBA programme in Agri-Business for the academic session 2012-13. The entrance exam will be followed by Group Discussion and Interview.

Eligibility criteria
Given below are the eligibility criteria for admission to MBA Agri-Business in KAU:
- All professional graduates of State Agricultural Universities/ Deemed Universities under ICAR system with a minimum OGPA of 7.5/10.0 (7.0 for SC/ST Candidates).
- All graduates, including professional graduates from Indian/Foreign universities recognized by AICTE/UGC with minimum 60% marks from SSLC onwards (5% concession to SC/ST candidates).
- Candidates awaiting final results of the qualifying degree can also apply for the course, however, they should have secured their qualifying degree on or before the date prescribed for the GD and Interview.
Exam pattern
- The question paper comprises 120 objective type questions each carrying one mark
- Candidates should answer the questions within 2 hours of the exam duration
- There is no negative marking
- Candidates should use blue or black dot pen for marking the answers
Syllabus
The question paper is divided into three parts as given below:
- Part A - English Comprehension and Verbal Ability (40 Marks)
- Part B - Mathematical Aptitude (40 Marks)
- Part C -Test of Reasoning (40 Marks)
