1. Strategise your exam attempt
Appearing for an entrance exam with a strategy can help increase your score. After appearing for CAT, IIFT and other MBA exams, aspirants must have a fair idea about which exam strategy suits them. Rework on the strategy. Modify it according to IBSAT’s requirement and practice for the final exam. And if you still do not have an exam strategy, work upon it now. Experiment with different exam strategies. Choose the best one for you.

2. Practice sample papers / mock test
Every exam has its own pattern. To familiarise with an exam you must take up a lot of practice papers. Do not just practice individual topics for the exam. Go for the mock tests and last years’ question papers. This will not only help you in understanding the exam pattern but help you to know time consumed per question.

3. Analyse mock result
Just practicing mock tests is incomplete if you have not analysed its results. You must check the results after every mock test. After that, take up all the wrong answers and solve them again. Try to make short notes of important formulae.

4. Work upon Verbal Ability section
English is one of the most important aspect in IBSAT exam. Two sections in the exam are based on English. Therefore, one has to have a good command over the language. To improve English you must read as much as you can in this last month. Try to learn 10 new words every day.

5. Increase speed
IBSAT is all about speed. One has to answer 120 questions in 120 minutes. This means, you have a minute to answer each question. So, work on building speed. But remember, with speed you cannot compromise on accuracy. You have to answer correctly in the given time frame. Speed can be increased with practicing maximum test papers.

6. Analyse your weak and strong areas
You still have time for IBSAT. Utilise your time properly. This is the time when you can identify your strengths and weaknesses. Work upon your weakness, try to turn them into your strength. Find a solution that will help you turn your weaker sections to at least a moderate section. Work on your strengths. Practice or at least keep revising them to make them stronger.

7. Time Management
Managing time in IBSAT is crucial. You have to see that you complete all the questions in the desired time frame. Keep a watch on time. Every minute has its own importance in the exam.
