Mini MBA for students
A Mumbai based international school located in Juhu is offering a mini-MBA to its students from class IX onwards. RIMS International School and Junior College has come up with the first of its kind initiative to offer Business Enterprise, it is a newly-introduced subject that will cover all the topics taught in a conventional MBA programme. It has been introduced by the Cambridge international Education (CIE) board and the subject will cater students with the managerial skills which will help them in enhancing their chances of employability. 
Business Enterprise, along with business studies and economics will provide students with the same knowledge which are being taught in the best b-schools in the country, acclaimed Kishore Pillai, school principal. It was introduced in February as a pilot project and but this year it has started as a full-fledged subject. Through this program students are gaining a lot of practical knowledge which prepares them for the healthy business environment.
Students set up their own chocolate enterprise in February and the sweets were sold in the school on Valentine's Day. They have made a profit of Rs. 15,000 with the venture. Students opting for this subject will get four years experience of management by the time they graduate from school and they would be the natural choice for any top B-school. It also encourages students for entrepreneurship and starting up their own business instead grabbing a job in an organization at a managerial level.
