An online MBA is a management programme whose characteristics lie somewhere between a distance/ correspondence MBA and a full-time MBA. However, on the flip side you need to stay focused and reach out to different online communities to stay on top of the group of students who are also pursuing this degree. You also need to be internet savvy, as you would be required to take online lessons or join a webinar, etc to successfully complete such a management programme.

Executive MBA
These MBA programmes are also sometimes referred to as one year full-time MBA programmes. The main criteria to gain admission into an executive MBA programme is that one should have at least three to five years of work experience. Since most individuals pursuing such a programme already have a sound understanding of the corporate world, it is easier for them to grasp the course concepts quickly and easily. However, a major disadvantage of pursuing an executive MBA is that it requires one to take a leave of absence for at least a year in their job.
