XAT 2015: Eligibility criteria and test centres

XAT 2015 is all set to be held on January 4, 2015. View important dates. The last date to register for the exam is November 22, 2014.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), held on behalf of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI), is a pen-paper based test. The exam is held for three hours and consists of multiple-choice questions.

XAT 2015 registration fee is Rs 1000 (Rupees One Thousand only) for all applicants. Find out how to apply for XAT 2015.

Professor Munish Thakur is the admission chairperson of XLRI in 2015. Know test pattern and exam syllabus.

โ€œThe format of XAT would remain pen-paper based. This is to ensure that candidates of all backgrounds are at par, so that those who have pre-familiarity of operating computers, specially coming from privileged background or having worked in IT sector, do not get any advantage over others who do not have access to computers. The paper-pen mode also ensures that all candidates are tested on exactly the same set of questions, and not on different sets,โ€ informed the institute.

The marks of General Knowledge will not be used for determining the percentile and cut off at first stage of selection. It may, however, be used by XLRI and some other institutes at the time of final selection.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the exam, candidates must hold a recognised Bachelorโ€™s Degree in any discipline or complete their graduation by June 10, 2015.
