SRM School of Management MBA admission is entrance-based. Before applying for the PG programme, aspirants shall ensure that they fulfill the course-specific eligibility requirements. The eligible candidates can visit the SRM SoM official website to register and apply. Applications are then shortlisted based on applicants' scores in MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ TANCET MBA/ SRMJEEM/ SRMJEEE. 

The university fee structure is cumulative of several components, such as caution deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. A few of these components are one-time payable, while some have are charged annually/semesterly. SRM IST Chennai MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.9 Lacs and INR 11.5 lakh. Moreover, the one-time fee range between INR 1,200 and INR 11,000 and the hostel charges range between INR 1.45 Lacs and INR 3.3 lakh.

The placements were so good. Almost 95% of the students in my batch were placed with good salary packages. The highest package for our batch was 12 LPA, the average was 5.11 LPA and the lowest package was 2.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for MBA students are TCS, IBM, Swiggy, Extramarks, Amazon etc. 315 companies visited the campus. There were 1400 internships offered with 95 percent placement.

As per the latest SRM Ramapuram placement information, many recruiters participated in the 2024 placements and made 655 job offers to 498 students. Moreover, the the highest package offered during SRM Ramapuram placements in 2024 stood at INR 40 LPA. Apart from this, a total of 125 super dream offers of more than INR 10 LPA were offered to students.

Admission to MBA at SRM IST Vadapalani is primarily entrance-based. Students must appear for SRMJEEM (SRM Joint Entrance Exam for Management) national-level test conducted by SRM IST. Alternatively, candidates can apply using scores of exams such as CAT, MAT, NMAT, CMAT, TANCET, or SAT India. After meeting the minimum score requirement in any of these exams is only the first step. Based on entrance test scores, shortlisted candidates are then required to appear for a personal interview round conducted by SRM IST. Final selection is based on both exam performance and interview round.
