For MBA admission, Maharaja Agrasen University accepts scores from the following entrance exams: MAT, CMAT, HPCET, CET, and CAT. The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) administers the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) to grant admission to MBA programmes and numerous other courses at participating state institutions. The All India Management Association (AIMA) administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), a national entrance exam, to candidates seeking admission to PGDM and MBA programmes. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), a business aptitude exam, to applicants for MBA and PGDM programmes. This year's CAT exam was set for November 26, 2023.

To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The 2023 CAT form has to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. For the 2023 CAT exam, CAT registration was between Aug 2 and Sep 20. For MBAs, Business Today 2023 ranks Shoolini University 88th. Four semesters make up the two-year, full-time, residential MBA programme. PG MBAs are available at Shoolini University in 11 specialisations. The university's approved entrance exam results are used to determine admission to the MBA programme.
