IIM Indore provides Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) to PGP/ IPM students with annual family income below INR 9 LPA, are eligible to apply for financial aid. The objective of the Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) at IIM Indore is to ensure that no participant is deprived of education at the institute for financial reasons. The NBFA Committee undertakes a two-step process for deciding the number of awardees and quantum of aid. The scholarship is awarded to the students selected for pursuing courses at graduate/postgraduate in identified institutions in professional fields such as Management, Medicine, Engineering, Information Technology, Law, and Training etc. In the first stage, the candidate's financial needs will be assessed by evaluating the application submitted by them. In the second stage, based on the first stage assessment, some of the participants are called for personal interaction with the NBFA Committee. Eligible applicants who wish to apply for the IIM Indore NBFA may apply in the prescribed form as available in PGP/ IPM Office.

Admission without CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is possible for some courses only like LL. M., and others. but for these courses,  CUET-PG is accepted by the university. So, students can get admission without CUET but the student have to change the course they are opting for. Jiwaji University PGDM admissions are granted based on various national-level exam scores, including XAT. As per the institute's cutoff data for 2023, the XAT cutoff percentile for General All India category students stood at 50. 

Students must note that this cutoff can vary depending upon the difficulty of the exam in the admission year.

CMAT 2025 was on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in 2019.
