Overall, I am satisfied with the institute.
Placements: I am a student of 2016 PGDM batch. Almost 80% of the students from our course were placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is around Rs. 12,000 per month and the average salary offered is around Rs. 18,000 to 20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Concentrix, etc. Top roles offered to the students are HR, marketing manager, finance analyst, etc. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 2 LPA. All the students got an internship in various companies like IOCL, Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a good library with valuable management books, high-speed Wi-Fi facility and air-conditioned computer labs without any restrictions. There is a good hostel which we share with the students of GITAM College. Food served is very neat and hygienic all the time. Medical facilities are available, and there is a hospital nearby. Cab facility is available to go and come from college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are extremely helpful, qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. There are industry visits in the city and industrial tours to faraway places.
Other: I have chosen this course because all the corporate companies require qualified students from this course. Top companies give placement directly to manager position if the person is qualified from business school. I wish the course would be better if the students are given more clarity about their future if they join the course. Many events are conducted in our college, and we participate in other colleges' fests. Campus crowd is good, and the campus surroundings are peaceful. Scholarships are provided in our college, and cricket tournaments also take place.
