Annamalai University Medical Entrance Exam
Annamalai University will be conducting its Medical Entrance Examination on June 7th, 2013 for admissions to the M.B.B.S./ B.D.S./ B.P.T./B.Sc. / B.Pharmprogrammes.

- M.B.B.S. - Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery
- B.D.S.- Bachelor of Dental Surgery
- B.P.T.- Bachelor of Physiotherapy
- B.Sc (N) - Bachelor of Science - Nursing
- B.Pharm
Eligibility:
Eligibility Criteria for M.B.B.S./B.D.S: The student must have passed HSC of Tamilnadu or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% (40% for SC/ST). The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2013.
Eligibility Criteria for B.P.T: The student must have passed HSC of Tamilnadu or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects. The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2013.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc.(Nursing) / Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery: The student must have passed HSC of Tamilnadu or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects. Only Female candidates are eligible for this course. The candidates must have completed a minimum of 17 years of age and should not over 30 years as on December 31, 2013 (for SC/ST: upper age limit will be 35 years of age as on December 31, 2013 ).
Exam Pattern:
The question paper will be objective type with 120 questions to be answered in Paper-I and Paper-II, respectively. The time allowed is 3 hours for each paper. The candidates have to attend both papers.
Paper - I: Biology: will contain 60 questions in Botany and 60 questions in Zoology.
Paper - II: Physical Sciences: will contain 60 questions in Physics and 60 questions in Chemistry.
Admissions Procedure:
Admission to these courses will be based only through the entrance examination. This Entrance examination is for the candidates from Tamil Nadu as well as from other States in India.
