Bundelkhand University CPMT Result 2011 was declared late evening yesterday. Bundelkhand University (BU), Jhansi conducted the Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test 2011 on May 15 and declared the UP CPMT Result 2011 late evening on June 15.

More than 65,000 students had applied for the exam. About 61,000 appeared for UP CPMT 2011 which was conducted at around 300 exam centres across 15 districts of the state. 50% candidates more than the minimum passing marks. Since there are only 700 medical, 100 dental and 800 AYUSH seats, eligibility of 30,000 students mean that the seat-candidate ration is about 1:19 raising the level of competition to quite high.

Top 10

In the recently released Bundelkhand University CPMT Result 2011, the topper is Harshit Agarwal, who secured 169 out of 200 marks. The second place in the merit list was secured by Shailesh Singh who secured 165 marks, third and fourth placed by Anshul Tewari and Utkarsh Agarwal who secured 164 marks and fifth place by Kumari Sakshi, who secured 163 marks.

Sarthak Sharma secured the sixth position with 163 marks; Ankit Kumar Tandon, Anubhav Pal and Mohd Saalis Pervez secured seventh, eighth, and ninth positions with 162 marks each and Jai Narain Verma secured the tenth position with 161 marks.

Four out of the top ten students represent the other backward classes (OBC) category.

Exam and Scoring Pattern

A total of 200 objective type questions were asked in a single paper of UP CPMT this year with a maximum score of 200. The duration of the exam was three hours and 50 questions each were asked from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. There was no negative marking.

According to the VC of the University, the Bundelkhand University handed over UP CPMT Result 2011 to the state medical education department at 9.00 pm last night.
