INI CET 2021 July session will be held on June 16, 2021, AIMS has announced. The exam was postponed due to covid-19 cases across the country. Read to know more.

AIIMS Delhi has released the revised schedule for INI CET July session. As per the official notification, INI CET 2021 July session will be held on June 16, 2021. INI CET admit card will be released on June 9, 2021. Candidates who had registered for the exam will be able to download admit card for INI CET 2021 from the official website of AIIMS.

Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held on May 8, 2021 but it had to be postponed as covid-19 cases were on the rise across the country and several states had imposed partial lockdown to contain the infection. INI CET 2021 registration started on March 1, 2021. The last date to check the final status of INI CET 2021 application form was April 19, 2021.

INI CET, abbreviated as the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test is conducted by AIIMS Delhi in online mode. The national entrance exam is conducted for providing admission into the PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgie (MCh) offered by eight AIIMS including AIIMS Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh, and NIMHANS Bengaluru, JIPMER Puducherry and PGI Chandigarh. INI CET 2021 exam is conducted twice a year, January and July session.

INI CET replaces individual PG level exam conducted by the above-mentioned institutes of national importance. The exam was conducted for the first time on November 20, 2020. From 2021 onwards, admission in PG courses at these institutes will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the INI CET 2021 exam.

As per the INI CET 2021 pattern, the test paper will comprise 200 multiple choice questions. Candidates will be given 3 hours to answer them. Candidates are advised to check INI CET syllabus and the exam pattern to make strategy accordingly which will ultimately help them to score well in the exam.
