MUHS final year exams 2020 to be conducted between July 16 to 27

Maharashtra University of Health Science (MUHS) decided to conduct the MUHS final year exams 2020 between July 16 and July 17, 2020. On June 6, Examination Controller Dr Ajit Pathak said, “For the convenience of students and affiliated colleges, these examinations have been organized in a phased manner and at the colleges where the students have taken admissions.” Students who are supposed to appear for MUHS Final Exams 2020 can check time table direct at https://www.muhs.ac.in/showpdf.aspx?src1=upload/TT-UG_Final%20Yr.%20Exam_050620_updated.pdf. 

Pathak further added that the reason why the MUHS is starting with final-year exams is that after the exams the graduated students can start internships at different hospitals and serve as COVID-19 warriors.

The reports also suggest that in order to prepare a blueprint, the Vice-Chancellor of MUHS, Deelip Mhaisekar worked overtime with various stakeholders after the varsity announced the cancellation of all health science exams in May due to coronavirus outbreak. He also coordinated with the central medical councils on the issue.

Earlier on June 4, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari granted permission to conduct all undergraduate and post-graduate examinations of various courses of the MUHS as proposed by the Nashik-based health sciences university. The Maharashtra Governor took the decision to conduct the examination during a meeting conducted between Koshyari and Education Minister Amit Deshmukh.
