Maharashtra University of Health Sciences is a Public University. It was established in the year 1998. The university is approved by the UGC and is also known as MUHS, or Health University Nashik. In both cases, candidates must qualify for the BSc eligibility criteria which include twelve years of school education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ST/OBC; 45% aggregate for PWD category candidates) along with English as one of the subjects. And requires candidates to be a minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31 of the year of admission (Request for relaxation from the prescribed age limit will not be considered for any category of applicants.
