KNRUHS is a state university, established in 2014 with the approval from Government of Telangana. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Medical Council of India (MCI). KNRUHS Telangana is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI), Central Council of Indian Medicine  (CCIM), Central Council of Homoeopathy  (CCH) and Indian Nursing Council University of Health Sciences  (INCUHS).

Chaitanya University has concluded the placements for the batch Engineering and Management batch passed out in 2024. As per the latest report, the the highest and minimum package offered to Engineering and Technology students during Chaitanya University placements 2024 stood at INR 6 LPA and INR 2 LPA,  respectively.
