Allahabad University begins the application process for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The registration process which was supposed to begin from March 25 finally resumed on May 10 for the Under Graduate Admission Test (UGAT), Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) and Institute of Professional Studies. Interested and eligible candidates can take the application forms from the official website of the University i.e. allduniv.ac.in.

Allahabad University Admissions 2020: Application Details

The Allahabad University not yet released the last date of the application process or the entrance exams date. According to the rules, a deduction of 5 per cent of the marks secured in the entrance test would be made for every gap year from the obtained marks. The maximum deduction would be 15 per cent. The rule is applicable for both the undergraduate and postgraduate level entrance exams.

Allahabad University Admission 2020: Examination Mode and Pattern

Candidates will have to choose between the online and offline mode for both UGAT and undergraduate admission test (UGAT) and PG admission test (PGAT). The applicant needs to make the choice in the application form itself.

Both the exams will be multiple choice based.  PGAT exam will be divided into two exams, PGAT II is for admission for MSc courses while rest are for other postgraduate level exams. Constituting 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), PGAT will be of 300 marks. The first 50 questions of the PGAT 2020 test for the course mentioned.
