AP SSC exams 2021 postponed until further notice amid COVID-19

AP SSC exams that were scheduled to begin from June 7 have been postponed until further notice.

AP SSC exam date 2021: The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) has postponed the AP SSC examinations 2021 until further notice amid the second wave of COVID-19.  The state will review the situation again in July and make a decision accordingly, Chief Minister's Office said.  The government informed the same to the High Court that was hearing a petition filed by some parents seeking cancellation of the Class 10 examinations in view of the spread of COVID-19.

Earlier, the government had said that the AP SSC exams will be conducted as per schedule, but when the petition came up in the High Court, the government said that it has now decided to postpone the examinations and will review the situation again in July.

Education Minister Audimulapu Suresh had earlier said that examination centres are being identified and steps are being taken to print the question papers and assign investigators for the smooth conduct of the AP Class 10 examinations.
