Bihar Board Result 2026 Soon; BSEB Toppers to Get Up to INR 2 Lakh on Medha Diwas

Bihar Board will reward class 10 and 12 BSEB toppers 2026 with cash prizes on Medha Diwas (December 3), along with laptops, medals and certificates. Rank holders will also get monthly scholarships to support their further studies. Check details here 

BSEB Toppers to Get Up to INR 2 Lakh on Medha Diwas

Bihar Board Result 2026: Bihar School Examination Board is likely to announce BSEB Class 10 and 12 result soon. After Bihar Board result for matric and inter, BSEB toppers will be honoured with cash prizes and other rewards on Medha Diwas, celebrated on December 3. As per media updates, BSEB PRO Rajeev Dwivedi said that these incentives are provided to encourage students to continue their education.

Students securing top ranks will receive the following prize money:

• 1st rank: INR 2 lakh
• 2nd rank: INR 1.5 lakh
• 3rd rank: INR 1 lakh
• For Bihar Board class 12 students, those ranking 4th and 5th will get INR 30,000 each.
• For BSEB Matric students, those ranking from 4th to 10th will receive INR 20,000 each.

Extra Benefits for Bihar Board Toppers 2026

Apart from cash prizes, all rank holders will also be given:

• A medal
• A certificate of merit
• A laptop to support their studies

Scholarships for Further Studies

BSEB also offers financial support to help toppers continue their education:

• Bihar Board Class 10 toppers: INR 2,000 per month till completion of Class 12
• BSEB Class 12 toppers: INR 2,500 per month during their graduation

In 2025, a total of 151 students received cash awards and scholarships. This included 123 Class 10 toppers and 28 Bihar Board Class 12 toppers.
