CBSE Term 1 Exam 2021-22: CBSE Term 1 Date Sheet has been announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). With the announcement of the CBSE 10th date sheet and CBSE 12th date sheet, the countdown for the upcoming CBSE Board Exam 2022 has also begun. With the CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th Term 1 exams starting soon, the CBSE board has now released an important notice about change in the exam city and exam centre for the students. As per the official notification, Students will now have a choice to change exam city and exam centre for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 Term 1 exams.
The CBSE Date Sheet 2021 released by CBSE stated that it will try and give exam centres for the term 1 exams to students in their own schools. The Board also assured that it will take care of the distance and proximity factor in case the student is given the external exam centres. However, despite this, many students and parents have reached out to the board as some of them are not in the city of their schools where they had taken admission. Such students have requested the Board to provide an option for change in Exam city and centre.
Considering the request by several parents, the Board in its latest circular allowed students to change their exam centre and exam city.
The official notification in this regards reads βat an appropriate time, CBSE will inform students to make a request to their respective schools to change the city of their exam centre. Schools will follow instructions given by CBSE to forward the request to CBSE in an online system."
CBSE will open the window for change in the exam city soon, but so far no dates have been announced by the board yet.
CBSE Class 12 term 1 exam date 2021-22 and CBSE Class 10 term 1 exam date 2021-22 were released on October 18 by the Board.
