CHSE Odisha 12th Results 2020: The Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha will be declaring the Odisha + 2 Results 2020 for Class 12 on August 12. The CHSE Odisha Class 12 Results 2020 has been delayed this year due to coronavirus outbreak in the country. Students who have appeared for the Odisha Class 12th Examination 2020 have been eagerly waiting for the Odisha Plus 2 result 2020. Once the result is announced, students can check the same on the official website of the Board, i.e. orissaresults.nic.in and chseodisha.ac.in. The CHSE Odisha 12th results 2020 for science stream Date was confirmed by the Odisha Education Department through their twitter handle.
As per the Odisha CHSE Time Table 2020, the Odisha 12th Board Exams were scheduled to be held from March 3 to March 28, 2020, for Arts, Commerce, Science and Vocational Education. However, the exams were postponed and later cancelled due to coronavirus restrictions on the opening of educational institutions. At least 22 papers of these streams including biology, economics, logic, geography, computer application, cost accounting, statistics, anthropology, sociology, tourism and hospitality, agriculture, automotive, electronics & hardware and retail were postponed and were later cancelled. The Odisha Plus two Result 2020 will now be announced on the basis of the assessment scheme.
As per the revised Odisha CHSE assessment scheme, Odisha 12th result 2020 will be announced based on the average marks formula. For students who appeared in more than three papers, the average mark of the best three theory papers will be awarded in the theory part of the paper for which exams were cancelled. For students who appeared in two papers, average of marks in theory paper of best two performing subjects will be awarded. CHSE also said that it will conduct an optional examination for the cancelled paper as and when feasible. Students will be given the option to either appear or skip the optional exam. However, if a candidate appears for the optional examination, the marks obtained will be treated as final.
