GSEB Class 12 exams have been postponed again and will be conducted after the COVID situation is under control.
This is the second time that the state government has decided to postpone Class 12 exams in view of the prevailing circumstances due to COVID. Earlier, the government had said that the state board will review the COVID-19 situation in the state on May 15 and thereafter announce the new dates for the Gujarat Board Class 12 exams.
Earlier, the state government cancelled the GSEB Class 10 examinations due to the prevailing COVID situation and decided to mass promotes students to Class 11. Around 8.72 lakh regular students of class 10 studying under GSHSEB will be promoted to the next grade, according to the development. βAn important decision was taken today in the wider interest of the students of Std-10 SSC of the state. Considering the current state of transition of the corona, the decision to give adequate mass promotion to regular students in Std-10 SSC this year was taken in the core committee meeting held today," read the official tweet by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani.
Moreover, the state government has already granted mass promotion to the students of Classes 1 to 9 and also Class 11 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
