The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) announced the GSEB Class 10 (SSC) result at 6 am today i.e. June 9, 2020. The GSEB SSC Board Exams 2020 Topper scored 94.66%. This year, the overall pass percentage in the Gujarat Board Class 10 exam is 60.64% which is 6.33% on the lower side as compared to the stats of the year 2019 i.e. 66.97%. According to the stats released, the pass percentage of boys is a modest 56.53%, close to 10 points less than the pass percentage of girls to qualify i.e. 66.2%.
GSEB SSC Results 2020 Statistics
A total of 10.84 lakh students appeared for the GSEB SSC Board Exams 2020. Out of the total 8.4 lakh are regular students and 2.25 lakh are the once who reappeared for the exams this year.
According to the GSEB SSC Date Sheet 2020, the GSEB SSC board exams 2020 were held between March 5 and March 17. This year’s stats suggest that the number of students achieved the top A1 grade in the GSEB SSC result dropped from 4,974 in 2019 to less than half i.e. 1,671. Similarly, 23,754 students scored A2 grade this year where their number was 32,375 last year and 58,128 got B1 grade compared to last year’s 70,677. The number of D-graders almost doubled, increasing from 6,288 in 2019, to 13,977 this year.
GSEB SSC Results 2020 District-wise Pass Percentage
The board results 2020 suggest that the centre at Sapreda scored the highest GSEB SSC Result this year with 94.78% pass percentage while Rowabari scored a pass percentage of only 14.09%. Among the districts, Surat managed to score the highest pass percentage with 74.66% and Dahod scored the lowest with 47.47%.
GSEB SSC Results 2020 Qualifying Marks
According to GSEB rules, a candidate must obtain a minimum of grade 'D' in all subjects to qualify. Candidates who have obtained grade 'E1' or 'E2' only in the subjects will have to improve their performance through subsequent attempts and qualify. The passing standard for a differently-abled candidate is 20%.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘Class 10th SSC Results 2020’
Step 3: A new page with input fields will open
Step 4: Enter the seat number
Step 5: Verify the details and click on the Submit button
Step 6: The GSEB 10th Result 2020 will be displayed on the screen
How to check GSEB SSC Result 2020 via SMS
Students can also check their Gujarat Board 10th Result 2020 via SMS. For the same, they can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Open SMS application on your mobile phone
- Type an SMS in the following format: SSCSeatNumber.
- Send it to 56263.
- GSEB SSC result 2020 will be sent as an SMS on the same number.
