Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) today started the Class 10th Board Examination for regular students of Jamia Schools and private candidates. The examination will continue until May 7, 2022. A total of 740 regular students and 531 private candidates are appearing in the examination.

JMI Vice Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar conveyed her best wishes to all the students appearing for the board exams. She said β€œI wish them all the very best and pray for all of them that they all pass with flying colours”. JMI Class 12th Board Examination will commence on May 6, 2022.

A total of 1,062 regular and more than 500 private students will be appearing in the exam. JMI Secondary and Senior Secondary Examination Certificates received an equivalence certificate from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in December,2021. JMI is statutorily empowered to offer school education programmes, i.e., Class X and Class XII. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams from April 26. While the CBSE Class 10 exams will conlcude on May 24, the Class 12 exams will continue till June 15. The Board has today also issued a set of guidelines for all appearing candidates which must be adhered to. The Board will issue the CBSE Admit Card 2022 Term 2 soon on its official website and the schools will be able to download the same and distribute it later to the regular students.

Parents and students are advised to go through the instructions which would be printed on the CBSE Admit Card 2022 Term 2 as well. The schools would be provided with the admit cards along with the list of subjects opted by the students. These would then be duly signed by the principal of the schools and then handed over to the students.
