The Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has modified Mah HSC, SSC subject-wise question banks according to the deleted syllabus.

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Maharashtra has modified the Maharashtra HSC, SSC question banks for all subjects according to the deleted syllabus. To compensate for the loss of time due to the COVID19 pandemic, the board has reduced the syllabus for class 10th and 12th upto 25 per cent as a one-time measure. However, the question banks released earlier this week included questions from the deleted syllabus.

The Maharashtra SCERT released the Maha HSC, SSC question banks to give an idea to students appearing for the board exams. The students can refer to the questions banks to get familiar with the exam pattern, marking scheme, the types of questions asked in the exam for the upcoming board exams.

Announcing this, SCERT in their Twitter handle said, “Questions will not appear from the 25 per cent of the topics excluded from the syllabus and such questions are being omitted from the question bank too.”

The students can access the questions banks on the official website of Maharashtra Academic Authority (MAA) - maa.ac.in. The question banks of SSC of History and Political Science, Geography, English (First Language), and Aksharbharati are available in English language while HSC question banks are available for Arts, Commerce and Science stream students.

MSBSHSC will conduct the Maharashtra HSC, SSC exams 2021 between April 23 and May 21. While the HSC exams will be conducted between April 23 and May 21, the SSC exams will be held between April 29 and May 20.
