Nagaland Board Exam Date 2026 Class 10, 12 Released: Check NBSE HSLC, HSSLC Time Table

NBSE 2026 Class 10, 12 examinations will be held in pen-and-paper mode in a single morning shift. All examinations will be held in offline mode at various exam centres across Nagaland, in a single morning shift. NBSE will also release practical exam instructions separately for Class 12 students.

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced ethe NBSE Class 10 (HSLC) and Class 12 (HSSLC) Exam Date Sheet 2026. As per the official schedule, the HSLC exams will begin on February 13, 2026, and conclude on February 26, 2026. Similarly, HSSLC examinations for Arts, Science, and Commerce streams will be conducted from February 12, 2026, to March 9, 2026.  2026 board exam appearing students can now download the subject-wise time table PDF from the official website, nbsenl.edu.in.

All examinations will be held in offline mode at various exam centres across Nagaland, in a single morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM. NBSE will also release practical exam instructions separately for Class 12 students. NBSE Class 11 Promotional exams will also take place between February 12, 2026 and March 9, 2026.

Students can download the 2026 NBSE date sheet, check subject-wise exam dates and plan their preparation accordingly.

Q:   How should I plan study timetable after the NBSE HSLC routine is announced?
A:

As soon as the NBSE HSLC routine 2026 is released, the students should replan their study schedule. The students should give more time to subjects based on gaps between exams. They should also give more time to weak paper and paper for which the exams will be held early. The students should also give time to syllabus revision, practicing the sample papers and previous years qustion papers.

Q:   Can I go to washroom during Class 10 board exam?

Yes, going to washroom during the class 10 board exams in India is allowed. When appearing for the any class 10 board exams, you must feel relaxed, confident and comfortable. So yes, students are allowed to use washroom even during the class 10 board exams. However, an invigilator can take you to the washroom because many students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exam.

Students must note that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration if they found using unfair means for cheating inside the washroom. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.
