PSEB may go CBSE way and announce the cancellation of PSEB Class 12 exams 2021.
Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is yet to announce its final decision on the conduct or cancellation of PSEB 12th exams 2021. Earlier, the board had proposed offline examinations for a few main Class 12 subjects but according to the officials, seeing the COVID-19 situation, it is difficult to go ahead and conduct the exams. The state board might opt the CBSE way and announce to cancel the exams.
PSEB-affiliated private schools association Joint Action Punjabโs senior vice-president Thakur Anand Singh said, โThe state board will definitely cancel the exam, but PSEB is running away from its responsibilities as all schools are free and can conduct examinations. But now that the Centre has cancelled the Class 12th exams, PSEB will follow suit and compile the result on CBSE pattern. However, this will impact scores of the students who have worked hard through the year.โ
It was also decided that students who are dissatisfied with their marks and wish to appear for their exams will get a chance only when the situation is favorable to conduct the exams.
