RBSE Board Exam 2020: Important updates for students appearing for exams amid coronavirus

The Rajasthan Board is all set to commence the remaining class 10th and 12th exams from today. The Board has issued certain guidelines for students appearing for exams, read below to know more.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will be conducting the pending Class 10 and Class 12 exams from today, June 18, across 6, 209 centres in the state. The board has asked students to report one hour before the scheduled time for thermal screening and other safety procedure. The RBSE has asked the centre superintended to not let any students without a face mask or cover to appear for the exam. The Board has also disinfected the centre thoroughly.

Earlier, more than 120 schools in the state, which are examination centres now, were used as quarantine centre or shelter labourers in transit. The building was therefore disinfected twice.

Board officials said social distancing will be maintained at the examination centres. “We have added 524 new centres to adhere to social distancing during exams,” they said. The number of invigilators has also been increased by 40%.

For hand sanitizer, each centre has been given Rs 500. “If this isn’t enough, centre superintendents can utilise school funds from any other head,” the official said.

More than two million students will be appearing for the exams; this includes 11,86,418 of Class 10 (Secondary) and 8,71, 741 of Class 12 (Senior Secondary) students.

The Board has also decided to promote visually impaired students and students with more than 75% disability, who require a writer, without the exam. 

On June 10, the RBSE 10th Admit Card 2020 and RBSE 12th Admit Card 2020 was released which can be downloaded by the school authorities through the official website of the Rajasthan Board- rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in/.

Students have to make sure not to forget carrying their RBSE 10th Admit Card 2020 and RBSE 12th Admit Card 2020. Without which they will not be given entry.

Earlier, RBSE had released the RBSE time table 2020 for the pending RBSE 10th examinations and RBSE 12th examinations on its official website. As per the revised RBSE 10th time table,  the RBSE 10th exams would be conducted from June 27 to June 30, 2020. While, according to the 12th RBSE time table 2020, the RBSE 12th examinations are slated to take place from June 18, 2020, till June 30, 2020. The revised RBSE time table 2020 was released on June 1, 2020. The RBSE 10th, 12th examinations will be conducted from 8:30 am to 11:45 am.

RBSE 10th examination and 12th examinations were postponed earlier due to coronavirus outbreak in the country followed by a series of nationwide lockdown. Once the remaining exams are completed, the Board is expected to release the RBSE 10th Result and RBSE 12th Results 2020 by mid-July.
