Tamil Nadu 10th Board Results 2020 to be announced soon, confirms TN Education Minister.

TN 10th Result 2020: Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TN DGE) will soon be releasing the Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2020. The State Education Minister K.A.Sengottaiyan confirmed the same and said that the Board is taking every possible step to release is as soon as possible. However, he did not confirm the TN SSLC Results 2020 date of release. The Tamil Nadu 10th Results 2020 got delayed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country. The COVID-19 lockdown resulted in the postponement of the Tamil Nadu 10th Exams 2020. Later the Board cancelled the exams. Now, the Board will announce the Tamil Nadu Results 2020 for Class 10 on the basis of student's internal assessment. Around 9 lakh students were supposed to appear for Tamil Nadu Class 10 exam in 2020.

Once the results are announced, students can check the same on the official website tnresults.nic.in as well as on dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in. DGE has already announced the TN HSE +1 and TN HSE +2 results for 11th and 12th results online. The results for the students who had appeared for the TN Class 12 examination at a later date have also been announced. The SSLC results would now be announced soon.

In 2019, Tamil Nadu Board had announced the TN SSLC results on April 29. In 2019, a total of 10 lakh students had appeared for the examination. The overall pass percentage last year was 95.2 percent. Girls performed better than boys last year with the overall pass percentage reaching up to 97 percent whereas the pass percentage of boys was 93.3 percent.
