Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi has released an official statement warning management aspirants against a fake notice circulating all over the internet. Students must note that the notification is an admission notice for MBA and MBA-IB programmes.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi has released an official statement warning management aspirants against a fake notice circulating all over the internet. Students must note that the notification is an admission notice for MBA and MBA-IB programmes.

BHU Admissions 2021: The devastating outbreak of the novel coronavirus situation delayed various academic activities including the admission process. Students around the nation are concerned with delayed results, postponed entrances and awaited admission processes. Amid the chaos, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi has released an official statement warning management aspirants against a fake notice circulating all over the internet. Students must note that the notification is an admission notice for MBA and MBA-IB programmes. Warning the students, BHU stated, “Admission schedule for Batch 2021-2022 is under finalization. Be cautious about fake messages / SMS with regard to Admission schedule for MBA/ MBA IB programmes of the Institute for Batch 2021-2022.”

Informing the students interested in BHU Admissions 2021, the varsity further added, “All information will be provided through Official pages (www.bhu.ac.in/fms) or new webpages of the institute and through University Online portal.”  

The fake admission notice dated September 5, 2021, states that BHU is all set to commence the admission process for MBA and MBA-IB programme on October 1, 2021 and the last date to submit the application forms is January 4, 2022. Candidates are required to appear in CAT 2021 and also apply separately to the University. It further informs students to contact admission@fmsbhu.ac.in for more details regarding the varsity.

The institute uses CAT score for shortlisting its candidates for its above postgraduate programmes in management. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program, the notice added.
