BHU Placements 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

BHU MCA placement data 2026 is not released. However, as per NIRF report 2026, median package received during PG 2-year placements 2025 was 9 LPA. In addition, 1372 PG 2-year students were placed in 2025.

BHU Commerce department placement report 2026 is not released. Nevertheless, during overall PG 2-year placements 2025, 1372 students were placed and 2983 students were selected for higher studies out of total 4472 graduating students in 2025.

The minimum CUET scores required for BHU admission would differ based on category, course and rounds. For the General AI category, the minimum score accepted in the first round was 73.

BHU cutoff 2026 was released for the 3rd round for different All India quota categories for the UG-level courses. The round 3 cutoff ranged from 30 to 202 for the General AI category. Banaras Hindu University BTech is offered in different specialisations. It is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BHU BTech admission is done as per CUET exam scores. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can go to the CUET website to apply. 

The hostel fee structure for BHU is INR 3,000 - INR 4,000 per semester depending upon the degree. The hostel fee does not include mess charges. Banaras Hindu University is spread across a 1,300-acre campus. There are 41 hostels for boys and 21 for girls. Additionally, there is separate accommodation for international students. All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, a common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance system, etc.

BHU CAP UG registrations 2026 for admissions through CUET UG 2026 has started on Jul 9, 2026. The last date to register for the BHU counselling process is Jul 25, 2026. Seat allotment dates are yet to be released but it will tentatively start during the second week of August.

Any caste, region, religion students can apply for admission to various courses at BHU. Any caste student must fulfill the eligibility criteria and take admission. While selection process, students are not judged basis their religion, they are judged based on their merit. Hence, any student meeting the eligibility criteria can get admission in BHU. Yes, Banaras Hindu University popularly known for its MBA programme. The institute offers MBA courses via the Institute of Management Studies under the Faculty of Management Studies. The faculty of Commerce also provides MBA courses. 

BHU has not released placement report 2023 as of now. However, as per media reports, the overall the highest and average package offered was INR 1.2 crore per annum and INR 23.13 LPA, respectively. No, CAT is not necessary for MBA at BHU. The university offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University (bhu.ac.in) to apply online. BHU MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the CAT entrance test. The final selection is based on the student's performance in the GD & PI rounds. However, for admission to the MBA special courses of study, candidates can get admission with a valid CUET-PG score. Apart from this, the course aspirants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements as well.

BHU accepts CUET scores for admission to UG and PG courses. The admissions are over within few weeks of CUET counselling. CUET-PG is usually held in March whereas CUET-UG takes place in May. Students must check the complete schedule for exact dates. CUET applications for the coming year will begin in February and continue till April.

BHU LLM (Human Rights and Duties Education) course curriculum is spread across two academic years. For the examination purposes, the course is divided into four semesters. The core papers for this LLM course duration are mentioned below:

Yes, to apply for BHU BSc (Hons) course, candidates need to register online for CUET-UG. From 2022, the BHU-UET exam is replaced with this exam. Based on the merit of candidates' performance in the entrance exam, candidates are then required to register separately for the counselling round. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET-UG entrance test from May 21 to Jun 23 and the result was declared on Jul 15.

BHU does not accept JEE Main scores for BTech course admission. The interested students need to take the CUET-UG entrance exam to be eligible for selection. Students who get shortlisted based on exam score have to take part in counselling. The seats are allotted in this round only.

The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 3.2 lakh - INR 8 lakh at BHU. The total fee includes tuition fee, hostel fee, security deposit, registration fee, etc. Aspirants must pay the course fees to confirm their seat.

CUET score required for BHU admission depends on candidates' selected course and reservation category. CUET UG cut-off for BHU admission 2026 is yet to be released. As per the BHU CUET cut-off 2025, the closing CUET UG score for admission to most courses ranged from 500 to 600 for the General AI category. For some courses, such as BSc Computer Science & BSc Mathematics with Statistics, the closing score was between 400 and 500 for the General AI category. Cut-off scores for reserved categories like OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and EWS are usually 15-20% lower than the General AI category.
